The Manningham Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) has been produced to provide a tailored delivery framework to support the projects identified in the Masterplan and other projects which merit inclusion. The plan utilises the original Masterplan and creates a comprehensive delivery framework to deliver housing and environmental schemes in the short medium and long term, so as to transform the quality, condition, and visual appearance of the plan area.

The project was undertaken by DBA Management Consultancy in association with the Council's Housing team and comprised of a steering group made up of various stakeholders to drive the study forward.

The Neighbourhood Development Plan will support the delivery of the Masterplan by developing the proposals set out in the 2005 document to a level of detail required in order to advance projects to implementation stage. The projects developed will be around improving the quality of existing housing, opportunities for new housing developments and environmental improvements; proposals should be developed in conjunction with information provided on progress made so far with Masterplan projects and feedback from past community and neighbourhood consultations.

The proposals will be developed into realistic, affordable and costed projects ready to be implemented in the short, medium or long term.
