The Masterplan

Moving Manningham Forward

Manningham was identified in Bradford's 2020 Vision as one of the keys to achieving the vision by addressing the physical, social, economic and environmental challenges facing the area.

The Masterplan provides a framework for investment, coordinating the wide range of initiatives going on in the area, helping to establish priorities and attract additional public and private sector investment.

The Masterplan area includes some of the districts most beautiful and historic architecture and the green flag Lister Park. A priority of the Masterplan is to build on these assets improving the overall appearance of the area and encourage visitors.

Since the launch of the Masterplan in 2005 many of the projects outlined have been started and are now underway. The Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) was completed in late 2010 and is being produced to help the Council and Manningham Masterplan understand how to deliver the Masterplan in difficult economic circumstances.

The Manningham Masterplan team has a base at Manningham Library in the heart of Manningham and is led by Paul North.  Jane Bilous works on the delivery of the plan and is a key officer for Manningham.
